I could not find any way at all to interact with her, open the cage, or otherwise complete the quest. I could see the yellow question mark on my minimap but there was not actually one over her and she was red to me.
We both took the quest and went into Maraudon to free Kherrah. We got to the Valley of Spears and the first Mauler we killed dropped the item that began this quest. As we headed out of the Gelkis area the Gelkis centaur mobs that were formerly red to us were now neutral. We both completed Three Princes together, and picked up Not So Fast. We have been doing the quests in order as my leveling partner and I came across them we had nearly 50 quests complete for the Desolace achievement I believe.
